This one was done by our jester of the group. It was his idea this time. Shows off the face paint and wicked nails. I actually have red contacts, and its been hard to get used to them since i don't wear glasses or contacts.

I don't know if you did it on purpose, but the whole sketchy-ness to the face paint really brings out the whole Okami feel to this picture.

hehe, sorta and yes. its really hard to do anything straight and smooth when i'm drawing on myself. I didn't trust anyone to draw on the face part at least. Big center piece in a way. we were also sorta in a hurry when we did it too, trying to sneak in and out of the bathroom without anyone seeing us, they'd thing we were crazy

Thanks for the fyi xD I'll keep it in mind once I glue them on my fingers and file them down. You really need to make some tuts for stuff like this. Not trying to force you, but I'd LOVE to read what you'd have to say about it.

The thing about tutorials tho, is kinda like giving away your secrets. And then no one will want to commission to you. I'd like to tell everyone how i do things but i'm more afraid at giving away my method for free when i worked really hard on creating them

I completely understand. But if you dont give away only a little, people wont know how good your quality of work is. For instance, I don't like showing people my style of steps to drawing, and how I use almost over 200 layers per image I draw now a days. I dont like sharing videos or having people other then my close friends watch me draw, but if people dont know how much work I put into my work, they wont commission me. Well, I'm just not popular at all when it comes to commissioning people on the internet, but I hope you get my meaning. You dont need to share ALL of your ideas, just like one or two. I dont want to rant, but I'm a self taught type of person when it comes to crafts. I have figuring it all out for myself, but what can you do. For instance, I self taught myself different sewing methods, some interesting coloring methods, and making stuff like jewelry.
But I hope you dont think I'm trying to force you, I was just giving out some examples. Because to be honest, I'd love to see how hard you work on your cosplay.

If people like how i create my stuff then they'll commission me, tutorials doesn't necessarily help people want to do commissions. But if i offer a tutorial they'll more then likely not want to pay me for my service and try to do it on their own. I know because i was in that position. I've spoken with many others that do commissions and they have said the same thing. I am also self taught, i know what you mean but tutorials aren't good for me now. Maybe if i ever get more popular where i can afford to give away my ideas I'll do that. I'll try to help you the best i can, but if i feel like i'm giving too much away I'll have to ask for a commission. ok?
